Pulsed Electromagnetic Therapy Field: A Novel Diabetic Neuropathy Treatment
In the last few decades, the prevalence of type 2 diabetes has risen dramatically. Diabetic neuropathy, which causes increasing discomfort, loss of feeling (especially in the feet), weakness, and incapacity, has increased in tandem with this trend. Attempts to manage diabetes and moderate pain have been the mainstays of traditional treatment.

PEMF Device: How Does It Work?
PEMF enhances general health and fitness by using healthy electromagnetic frequencies rather than mobile phone frequencies. The cell wall of every cell in the body contains a negative charge. This is around -60 mV for nerve cells; other cells’ net negative charge may vary. 27 individuals underwent repeated 3-mm punch skin samples for epidermal nerve fiber density (ENFD) testing to see if PEMF had any effect on nerve regeneration. PEMF patients exhibited a 29 percent rise in distal leg ENFD of at least 0.5 SDs, but sham patients had no change in ENFD (P=0.04). PEMF research for DPN
PEMF was first introduced to us when we were researching its effects on diabetic neuropathy.
8 15 people (ages 41 to 79) with severe diabetic neuropathy, pain, and sensory loss were participated in our research, which was presented at the 2014 conference of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine. We found that PEMF boosted foot temperature substantially, which encouraged us to try it on the chest, where it elevated the temperature by 6 degrees, implying a considerable improvement in cardiac circulation.
